He has a Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of Arkansas – Grantham, certifications in Vmware Cloud & Artificial Intelligence.
He has successfully secured organizations across healthcare, financial services, education, and pharmaceutical industries.
With expertise across cybersecurity domains including governance, risk, compliance, cloud security, and vulnerability management, Chinedu has developed security architectures and programs for many complex environments. Module 1 - Introduction to Cybersecurity
- In this introductory module, students will learn foundational cybersecurity concepts including what cybersecurity is, why it is important for organizations, individuals and society.
- Key topics covered include the CIA triad, common cyber threats and attacks, roles and careers in the cybersecurity field.
Module 2 - Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- This module covers cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance. Students will learn about establishing governance models, frameworks like NIST, methods for risk assessment and management, and meeting compliance requirements.
- Applying the Concepts: Perform a compliance gap analysis for a sample organization against a framework like PCI
Module 3 - Vulnerability Management
- In this module, students will gain skills in identifying vulnerabilities, performing scanning and penetration tests, managing security patches, and prioritizing and remediating vulnerabilities.
- Run vulnerability scans on a test environment, analyze results and propose remediation.
- Discuss experiences with vulnerability management programs
Module 4 - Cloud Security Fundamentals
- This module provides an introduction to securing cloud environments. Students will learn about the shared responsibility model, core security principles and services across AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Applying the Concepts: Compare and contrast security features across AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Interview Prep: Explain the shared responsibility model in the Cloud
Module 5 - AWS Cloud Security
- Students will learn in-depth about securing AWS workloads and assets. Topics include AWS security fundamentals, access controls, resource security, security services and compliance considerations.
- Applying the Concepts: Secure an AWS-hosted web application using IAM, security groups, and other tools.
- Interview Prep: Discuss AWS security experience
Module 6 - Azure Cloud Security
- This module covers securing Microsoft Azure environments. Topics include Azure security fundamentals, access controls, resource security, Azure security services and compliance.
- Applying the Concepts: Implement RBAC and secure an Azure VM using best practices.
- Interview Prep: Discuss your experience with Azure Active Directory, securing resources
Module 7 - GCP Cloud Security
- Students will learn how to secure Google Cloud Platform resources and workloads. Topics include GCP security fundamentals, access controls, resource security, services like Security Command Center, and compliance.
- Applying the Concepts: Secure a GCP Cloud SQL instance using IAM roles and other recommended tools.
- Interview Prep: Discuss GCP security

- This module will help students prepare for cybersecurity job interviews.
- It will cover common technical and behavioral interview questions, resume preparation tips, and how to stand out as a candidate.
